DuraSil is a neutral cure silicone building sealant that can be used for a variety of purposes. In dry, cold, or wet conditions, it has exceptional weather tolerance and longevity. DuraSil can withstand temperatures of up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (204 degrees Celsius). DuraSil adheres well to Kynar 500 PVDF-coated metals, copper, glass blocks, and other construction materials. Windows, doors, curtain walls, marine, and transportation applications may all benefit from DuraSil.

INSTALLATION

Surfaces for bonding should be clean, dry, and clear of any contaminants that could interfere with the sealant’s performance. For surface preparation, isopropyl alcohol is a good option. For implementation instructions for temperatures below 32 degrees F, please contact customer support (0 degrees C). To ensure sufficient tooling and adhesion, keep the sealant at room temperature before applying it. When exposed to moisture, this substance sets quickly.
